As many have probably heard, recently it was reported that in the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max there was a problem with charging. It seems that Apple specialists managed to find a solution to this problem, but it is not yet available to ordinary users.
Curiously, just a little time after the discovery of the problem, information appeared on the network that the problem with charging in sleep mode are also subject to other Apple devices. Just like the iPhone XS and XS Max, they only start taking a charge when the screen is on.
As it turns out, the problem is not with the smartphones, but with the iOS 12 operating system. In the recently released beta version of iOS 12.1 for developers, the corresponding problems have already been eliminated and all devices are charged correctly.
The fact that Apple specialists so quickly fix problems in their software cannot but rejoice. On the other hand, the update to iOS 12.1 is still unavailable to ordinary users. We can only hope that the official release of a new version of the mobile OS with a fix for the problem with charging in sleep mode will not be long in coming.
