Huawei Watch GT may get a high-capacity battery at a low cost

As many may have heard, some time ago Huawei representatives said that the company does not plan to release a new smart watch until there is a technology that would significantly extend its life without recharging. It seems that the Chinese giant has finally achieved its goal and the new gadget, known as the Huawei Watch GT, may see the light very soon.If we believe the recent leaks, the Huawei Watch GT will get a battery with a capacity of 420 mAh, which is noticeably higher than most other smart watches. It is expected that, in combination with the new Qualcomm Wear 3100 processor, this will allow the gadget to work without charging up to two weeks of standby mode, in economy mode up to 7 days and about 20 hours at always on GPS. Otherwise, the Huawei Watch GT should get a 1.39-inch round AMOLED display, two large buttons on the right side, Bluetooth, built-in compass, pressure sensor, GPS, NFC for contactless payments, and accelerometer. Information about the presence of a heart rate sensor has not yet been confirmed, but its absence on the new smart watch from Huawei is unlikely. According to insider information, the Huawei Watch GT will cost $275. More information will be known, presumably, on October 16. That is the day when the new flagship smartphones Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be announced.
