Yandex will release its own minicomputer by the end of the year

Not so long ago, sales of the smart speaker from Yandex started. Not everyone has been able to get the long-awaited gadget, but the company is already preparing to release a new device on the market. This time, it will be a mini-computer called Yandex.Module.

An entry about the new device appeared on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission in the section "Unified register of notifications on the characteristics of encryption (cryptographic) means and goods containing them. It states that the mini-computer with the model number YNDX-0002, called Yandex.Module, will be manufactured by NotAnotherOne from California. It is worth noting that it is already engaged in the production of a smart speaker Yandex.Station.

Details about the new device is not much. It is only known that Yandex.Module will be a smart home controller, similar in functionality to Google Home. As Kommersant specifies, the device will be nothing more than a slightly modified Life Control center from MegaFon. The only significant difference will be the lack of support for 3G and 4G networks. By the way, Life Control devices are also manufactured by NotAnotherOne.

Unfortunately, there is no more detailed information about the new Yandex device. Nevertheless, it is already known that Yandex.Module may go on sale at the end of this autumn.
