Dropbox Inc. announced in its official blog about the imminent integration with Google Cloud. For ordinary users, this means more opportunities to work with the services of companies. For example, after the integration is complete, it will be possible to create and manage Google Docs, Sheets or Slides files directly in Dropbox. Also, users will be able to share necessary data with friends or colleagues without leaving the application. A pleasant innovation will become available for those who are used to sending links to files from Dropbox via Gmail. Now users will be able to see the dates of creation and last modification of the materials sent via this way. Another nice feature will appear in Hangouts Chat. When sending links to the files saved on the cloud storage, the interlocutors will be able to see their previews without leaving the chat. Unfortunately, we can't say exactly when all these features will be available to all users. The official Dropbox blog says that their introduction will happen "soon". So, all those who can't wait to try out the innovations in practice can only wait and follow the updates.
