At the exhibition Mobile World Congress 2019 expert committee announced which smartphone was the best at the end of 2018. The data was published on the MWC portal the day before.
The jury consisted of specialists in the field of technology, journalists, and representatives of mobile operators. The Mobile Congress was held from February 25 to 28 in Barcelona. There all the major firms presented their novelties and shared their plans for the future.
The winner among the smartphones was chosen in 13 categories. Mobile applications and technology were evaluated in the same categories.
The experts thought the best smartphone of 2018 was the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. In 2017, the experts chose the iPhone X as the top phone.
They also noted that Huawei was among the top 20 smartphones according to Business Insider.
