F(x)tec showed a smartphone with a 64-key QWERTY keyboard

A really interesting thing happened at MWC 2019. One of the events was the presentation by F(x)tec of its first smartphone, and not just any smartphone, but one with a QWERTY keyboard.

Previously, the company was called Livermorium. Under this brand it has created a slider Keyboard Moto Mod for Moto Z. However, in the sale of the device has not been released. But all the developments in this direction and became the basis for a new smartphone with a keyboard.

The company's gadget is called the F(x)tec Pro 1. At MWC it was presented as a prototype. However, despite this, F(x)tec reports that the smartphone is available for pre-order for $649. Deliveries will tentatively start in July.

F(x)tec Pro 1 is equipped with a keypad with 64 buttons in five rows and backlighting. On the smartphone you can not extend the keyboard, then the device will work as a monoblock, controlled by the sensor.

F (x)tec Pro 1 has a 6-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The camera of the device is dual, with 12 and 5 megapixels, and the "front" - 8-megapixel.

The battery capacity is 3,200 mAh. The smartphone supports NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. On the front is a fingerprint scanner.

The operating system of F(x)tec Pro 1 is Android 9 Pie, specially adjusted for the horizontal orientation of the screen.
