As some may remember, back in May of this year, Huawei decided to close the program that allowed unlocking the bootloader of smartphones. This was done in order to protect users from the problems that could arise due to custom firmware. In less than six months, Huawei specialists have changed their decision and launched the corresponding program again.It is worth noting, however, that the program to unlock the bootloaders of smartphones will work in a limited, test mode for now. As before, it will work in partnership with a community of mobile developers - XDA Developers. This time, the unlock codes will be launched by the Honor brand. The number of codes will be limited and will be distributed to those developers, who filled in a special form earlier than others.
