One of the main inconveniences when using the web version of Instagram is still the inability to upload photos from your computer to your feed. Because of this, users prefer to use the mobile app to log in to the social network. However, now Windows 10 PC owners have access to new features that have slightly narrowed the gap in the capabilities of the desktop and mobile version of Instagram. We are talking about the ability to send photos and videos in live messages. Despite the fact that there are settings for stories in the app settings, it is still impossible to publish them in the feed, but it is possible to send them to friends. To do this, you need to click on the camera icon in the upper left corner of the screen, take a photo or an animated image, add captions, stickers or drawings if you want and select the recipient. At the same time, it is not possible to upload a photo from your computer in this case. However, there is another way to send images to Instagram for Windows 10. They can now be shared through direct messages. In this case, you can upload pictures from your computer, or create new ones with your camera. It's hard to say yet whether the introduction of these features is the first step toward implementing the full functionality of Instagram on Windows 10. All that is left for ordinary users to do is to hope and wait for upcoming updates.
