New iPhones may get a triple camera

08 May 2018
As many have probably heard, the Chinese company Huawei recently released the first smartphone with a triple camera. It seems that Apple is interested in the innovation, and it is likely that the next generation iPhone may adopt this feature.A new iPhone with a triple main camera may be released in the second half of 2019. Investment analyst Jeff Pu of China's Yuanta Securities Bank shared the relevant information. This theory is confirmed by an earlier leak, which was published back in April by the Taiwanese Economic Daily News. Then it was reported that the main module of the three will have a resolution of 12 megapixels and will be able to provide five times the zoom. However, it is not clear whether it will be optical, digital or hybrid. Recall that the flagship Huawei P20 Pro was the first smartphone with a triple camera Leica. The main color module received a resolution of 40 megapixels, an additional 8 megapixel telephoto module, which provides 5x optical zoom, as well as a 20-megapixel black and white sensor, which serves an auxiliary role. Most likely, if the iPhone gets a triple camera, then one sensor will be regular, the second will also get a telephoto lens, but the third will hardly be monochrome, as Huawei has. However, it is difficult to predict anything yet. More accurate information about the new Apple smartphone will be known closer to the second half of 2019.
