It's no secret that Apple plans to release three new iPhones in 2018. Luke Lin - chief analyst at DigiTimes Research, is confident that one of them will be the second generation of last year's iPhone X.According to the analyst, the second generation iPhone X will not only have a 5.85-inch OLED display, instead of LCD, as previously expected, but also a slightly reduced cost. This will be achieved by reducing the cost of components of the new smartphone. Thus, compared to its predecessor, the new iPhone X will be cheaper to produce by about 10%, according to a source from the company's supply chain. Recall that in 2018 Apple will release three new iPhones: one with a 6.1-inch LCD display and two OLED models with a diagonal of 5.85 and 6.45 inches. Interestingly, the most budget-friendly of them will be the 5.85-inch iPhone, due to lower production costs.
