Updated iTunes won't be able to help download iOS apps

14 September 2017
An updated version of iTunes for Windows and macOS has been released. Instead of introducing any new features, the program has received a very serious limitation. We are talking about the built-in App Store, which is no longer duplicated in the desktop version of iTunes. Thus, users of Apple gadgets are no longer able to browse and install applications from their computer. Instead, they are offered to use the mobile version of the App Store. As for the desktop iTunes - now the program is designed exclusively for listening to music, audiobooks podcasts, and watching movies and TV shows. It's worth adding that Internet Radio has become part of Apple Music. In addition, educational content from iTunes U has been moved to the Podcasts section. The changes described above have taken place in iTunes version 12.7. Anyone can install the updated program on a PC or Mac.
