Many owners of smart watches from Google were looking forward to the release of Android Wear 2.0 last fall, but due to the discovery of a number of problems, this release has still not happened. It seems that the wait for the new OS is finally coming to an end: Google experts announced their intention to release the long-awaited operating system in early 2017.This time, Google is serious and has already sent developers notifications, which urge them to adapt their creations to Wear 2.0 in the near future. In case the necessary update is not followed - such applications will not appear in searches from the smart watch. The thing is that the new operating system will get a separate application store Google Play and will no longer require the user to have a smartphone, thanks to the ability to work in offline mode. There is very little time before the official release date: according to Google representatives, it will take place in early February. In order to help developers meet the deadline, documentation is attached to the notifications sent out, which will facilitate the work on the update. In addition to the release of the new operating system, Google is expected to introduce new smart watches, which, apparently, will appear on the market already with Android Wear 2.0 on board. It is known that other gadgets will receive the new OS in the form of an update. However, it is still unknown when and on which models it will be available.
