Samsung Bixby debuted at the same time as the release of the company's new smartphones, but the voice commands were only available to Korean speakers. However, the developers trained it rather quickly in American English, and now it is available to all English-speaking users of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in the U.S. and South Korea. The official release was preceded by Bixby Early Access program for English-speaking users. Like other virtual assistants, like Cortana or Siri, Samsung Bixby is able to perceive various voice commands and perform them. It is able to turn on the flashlight, search for information about the weather and other things, and manage built-in Samsung applications. In the future, it is planned to integrate the assistant into third-party applications.
