Posted materials are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Many users found this inconvenient and demanded to return the possibility of setting simple text statuses, which will be displayed next to their name for as long as needed. The usual statuses have already been found in the beta versions of the messenger for Android and Windows Phone. In the final versions of the applications they should appear within a week. At the same time, a clone of Stories from Snapchat will still be available in WhatsApp and, moreover, will be gradually improved and supplemented with new features.
