Restrictions on listening to music on VKontakte and Odnoklassniki doubled

02 November 2017
Unpleasant news for fans of listening to music in social networks. Starting from November 1, restrictions on background playback of audio recordings in VKontakte and Odnoklassniki became twice tougher. Recall that since October 1 this year, users of the above mentioned social networks lost the opportunity to enjoy their favorite music unlimitedly. Since then, VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, under an agreement with the rights holders, provided no more than 60 minutes of background audio playback per day. As expected, new restrictions took effect on November 1. Now, you can listen to music in the background for no more than 30 minutes a day. Of course, the corresponding restrictions can be removed. To do this, you need to buy a paid subscription in the Boom app. Its cost is 149 rubles per month. Interestingly, after payment, the user will not only be able to listen to music in VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Boom without restrictions. The subscription allows you to save audio recordings for offline listening, as well as disable ads in the web versions of social networks.
