Microsoft has prepared a pleasant surprise for those who often have to work with programs that require system resources. The latest build of Windows 10 features a new Ultimate Performance mode. When you activate this new mode, most of your computer's resources will be focused on the current, most demanding task. At the same time, the cost of background processes will either completely stop or be minimized. It is reported that Ultimate Performance mode significantly increases not only the computer's performance, but also its power consumption, and can contribute to increased wear and tear of components. Fortunately or unfortunately, ordinary users won't have to worry about the side effects of the new mode, at least for a while yet. The thing is, Ultimate Performance mode has only become available in the workstation version of the operating system - Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, or Enterprise. Whether it will become available in other versions of the OS from Microsoft - it is not known for sure yet.
