AKVIS Enhancer

AKVIS Enhancer is a photo editing program designed to improve image detail, correct shadows and sharpen image borders and contrast.

The program works in three modes: Detail Enhancement, Pre-Press and Tone Correction. These modes have the same purpose - correction, but the ways of correcting the image and, accordingly, the results are different. You can use different processing modes for different images and different purposes, and in some cases, you can use them all in turn.

The detail enhancement mode provides comprehensive correction of each point in the image without loss of quality and allows you to show detail in light and dark areas. In this mode, the program enhances textures, emphasizes details, "pulling" them out of shadowed and darkened areas. Enhancer fixes underexposed photos, photos taken against the sun and even helps to get rid of fog or haze.

Pre-Press mode helps you prepare your images before printing or posting them online. This mode increases the sharpness of the borders and contrast of the entire image. Even high-quality photos are recommended to be processed in this mode, as a result of the images get a professional look.

Tone Correction is designed to change the brightness of pixels in dark and light areas, thereby improving the overall picture. This mode allows you to correct not only the entire image, but also individual color areas (for example, brighten only the portrait, leaving the background untouched, or darken an over-lit sky).
