Bryce

Bryce is a 3D modeling, rendering, and animation program that specializes in generating fractal landscapes.

The program is intended mainly for the creation and visualization of landscapes. The possibilities of creating 3D models with internal modeling tools are limited to some primitives and light sources. Bryce has the following features:

• instancing Lab cloning lab, built on ecosystem principles;
• new types of group light sources;
• tree modeling;
• mountain landscape modeling and exporting;
• water modeling;
• sky and clouds modeling (manage layers of clouds, use the sky as a light source for HDRI, additional lighting from the sun);
• import objects from most 3D formats;
• supports import of animation from DAZ Studio, Poser, etc;
• metabolic;
• material and texture editor;
• animation, import/export of animation;
• integration with DAZ 3D programs;
• rendering (with raytrace algorithm);
• export and import of FBX and COLLADA data files, as well as Google SketchUp and Spore™ creation models;
• creating particle systems (animation, size, gravity, quantity control).
