DA SmartQuest is an AI-based tool, that alerts predict whether your drives will fail in the near future by labeling drives as either At-Severe-Risk, At-Moderate-Risk, or Healthy. Users who receive an at-risk prediction can back up their data and consider replacing their drives if their data is important. AI-based alerts are generated based on a machine learning model's assessment of multiple drive health attributes.

Threshold-based alerts occur when individual drive health attributes (such as temperature) crosses thresholds that exceed normal limits. While threshold-based alerts do not consider multiple health attributes simultaneously like AI-based alerts do, they have the advantage of potentially being able to pinpoint the source of drive health issues (such as high temperature). Once AI-based drive health predictions and threshold-based alerts are generated, they are displayed directly in the application.
DA SmartQuest also integrates into DA Drive Analyzer's family of products. One such product, DA Portal, which is DA Drive Analyzer's detailed online dashboard, allows you to view detailed health trends of the drives serviced by DA SmartQuest. From DA Portal, you can also set up email alerts. Furthermore, DA Portal allows you to monitor the health of drives from several computer systems, where each system is serviced by a copy of DA SmartQuest or another DA Drive Analyzer application.
