Directory Opus

Directory Opus is a program that is a convenient file manager that can completely replace the standard Windows Explorer. It provides users with a huge number of additional functions for efficient file management and flexible settings.

Naturally, Directory Opus allows you to perform all the basic operations with files, including copying, moving, deleting, etc. When you copy or move files, this file manager displays a more detailed dialog box that allows you to monitor the progress of the operation. And thanks to the flexibly customizable interface, copying and moving files is much more convenient and faster.

But besides that, Directory Opus allows you to perform many other operations with files that are not available in Explorer. For example, the program allows you to rename a large number of files using templates, it has a built-in archiver that supports most common types of archives. In addition, this file manager includes an FTP client. You can use it to manage files that are stored on a remote server, upload and download them.

In addition to the features described above, Directory Opus has a search, sorting, filtering and grouping functions, a built-in image viewer with meta-data editing that supports most formats, a CD/DVD burner, and more.

Another thing worth mentioning is the Directory Opus interface. It has very flexible settings. It can be made as a two-panel, as for example in Total Commander, or as an Explorer, with a folder tree on the left side of the window. In addition, it supports tabs. This allows you to open several folders in one window and switch between them at any time.
