FAR is an excellent file manager that works in both WINDOWS and DOS. It is lightweight, fast and for me quite well stocked with plugins. I also use Total Commander, but Total does not work in DOS.[:+5:]

Although I must admit, Total Commander can compete with it, then it is up to you to choose which one to download. For me Far is perfect.
