FreeOrion is a computer game in the turn-based strategy genre.
Gameplay consists of managing a space civilization: managing the economy, colonizing space, learning new technologies, fighting other civilizations. The player issues tasks, the results of which are calculated in the next course, all players get control in turn. The goal of the game is to conquer all inhabited planets of the game galaxy.
