I give it an A! I got tired of the mothballed Delphi 7 and chose Lazarus. I am writing a 500 person client/server system (Lazarus 1.4.4 + Firebird 2.5). My impressions are that the IDE is awesome and there is nothing extra! It is much more comfortable than Delphi. For those who have big EE files, it's because of the debugging information, which in addition to the code is sewn into the EEshnik. Use compiler switches or STRIP utility (located in directory with Lazarus, more precisely with compiler) it cuts debugging information. Is the hash file too big anyway? Alas... That's the price you pay for cross-platform. Get UPX (free), it compresses EXEs 1.5-2 times.

Is it not necessary to specify the size of the programs?

People, correct the description of the program. The program is free, not free software. Since it has the GPL, that means no one is giving the user freedom on his will. It imposes the disclosure of the source code.

not true, the license to lazarus and most (if not all) of its components have a special exception that allows you to create commercial products without disclosing the source code

Dear developers, hello.
Version 1.0.14 does not convert vcf1 library (DELPHI)
Is this bug fixed?
I'm waiting for an answer and wondering whether to install version 1.2.0
