MSU Perceptual Video Quality Tool

MSU Perceptual Video Quality Tool is a free program for measuring subjective video quality. It uses "blind comparison" scheme - sequences are played in pairs, and expert does not know which videos he compares. Two types of subjective comparisons are included, you can apply different methods of analysis of test results, for example, to assess the "stability" of expert opinions.

The program consists of two parts:

1. Task manager (composing the test, counting results).
2. Player - a program that plays the tests:
   • with rewind (if allowed in the test),
   • with a pause (if allowed in the test),
   • shows one pair several times (to evaluate the "stability" of the Expert Advisor).

The program supports .avi and .avs files (AviSynth). Additional settings are described in the documentation.
