Pencil2D is an open-source program in which you can create two-dimensional hand-drawn animation using vector and bitmap graphics.
This is a lightweight and easy-to-use program that allows you to focus entirely on animation. You can quickly switch between bitmap and vector graphics, drawing sketches and coloring frames with paint or ink as you go. The program has a full timeline with separate tracks for bitmap and vector graphics, and cameras.
The program is cross-platform: it works on Windows, macOS and Linux. It's open source and completely free for any use, including commercial use. Plus it doesn't need to be installed.
