PSELab - this program allows performing spectral and spectral-time analysis of nonstationary signals. The following methods are implemented in the program for estimation of spectral power density: periodogram; estimation of optimal parameters of complex exponential model using simplex and quasi-Newton search algorithms; Prony least squares method; modified Prony least squares method; Berg method; modified covariance method of autoregressive model parameters calculation; MUSIC.
For spectral-time analysis, the following methods are implemented in the program: calculation of the fast Fourier transformation (Winograd algorithm) in a sliding window; calculation of the Wigner-Will pseudo-transformation; evaluation of the optimal parameters of the complex exponential model in a sliding window (using simplex search algorithm); evaluation of the optimal parameters of the complex exponential model in a sliding window (using the modified Prony least squares method); evaluation of the optimal parameters of the autoregressive model in a sliding window.
The program has a possibility of data extrapolation by different methods. The program can run on Windows XP and later operating systems, requires at least 512 Mb of RAM (2048 Mb or more is recommended). If the Activation tab appears when launching the program, it means that the program is running in "demo" mode. In this mode the Open button is disabled (to open a data file), but it is still possible to create a signal within the program. To activate the program (activation is free and does not require registration) go to the tab of the program Activation and click on the button Auto Activate (the computer must be connected to the Internet). If Activation was successful, the Open button will become active after restarting the program.
