PURPOSE: The pointwise construction of "parabolic" trajectories.
DESCRIPTION: The motion of a ball, which is thrown upwards at an angle to a horizontal surface in the Earth's gravitational field, follows a parabolic trajectory, whose height and width depend on the angle at which the ball is thrown and its initial velocity. The curve is measured point by point using an elevation scale with two markers.
