Description

Raw Therapee is a free program designed especially for professional photographers and photo enthusiasts. It is designed for processing "raw" photos in RAW format and offers a wide range of tools for image processing and photo catalog management.

This photo editor has been given a well-designed interface that provides easy access to all its tools and features.

With a built-in file browser, it is very easy and convenient to manage large collections of photos with this program. The browser offers the ability to filter photos by various attributes, allows you to rate photos, search for photos, etc.

As for photo processing, Raw Therapee can satisfy even the most demanding photographers. All the tools are conveniently grouped in tabs on the sidebar, and are easily accessible in the process.

Using the tools offered by the program you can adjust the exposure of your photos (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.), the balance of shadow and light, tonality, white balance, and much more.

In addition, the editor allows you to crop, resize and correct the geometry of the photo, adjust the level of sharpness, remove noise and chromatic aberration,

When it comes to processing a large number of photos, the option to save settings to a profile can be very useful. This way you can set your preferences once and then apply them to other photos with just a few clicks, which can save a lot of time and effort.

In the end, you can download that this is a powerful RAW photo editor that is almost as good as other programs from this category.

We recommend downloading Raw Therapee from freeSOFT.ru: it's free, safe and fast.

Too bad there is no Russian. It's a long time to figure it out.

Tried the 32-bit version. Despite the warnings, it works quite well on Win XP. Judging by the menu, the range of correction is very wide, perhaps more than in the proprietary Silkypix, and responsiveness to commands is more confident. But the interface is clearly not designed for intuitive understanding and in my opinion not quite finished logically. For example, it is not clear how to process and save only one shot, rather than the whole queue of operations. All of my experimental clicks were recorded in the history, I couldn't find how to delete them, so all my numerous passes and undo's will be done during processing? Hide-show left panel - the show worked and at the same time closed the Hide, well now how to hide it? When selecting the save location I was able to select the drive, but the filer wouldn't let me inside, only offered to create a folder. And if I already have this folder? Perhaps all answers are in the manual, it is attached, but those who do not like to read manuals (me, for example), may be difficult. But in terms of processing, once again: the program is clearly more advanced than proprietary products.
