Scratch is a visual object-oriented programming environment for teaching junior high and high school students.
The main components of a scratch program are sprite objects. A sprite consists of a graphical representation - a set of costume frames - and a script. A graphic editor is built into the scratch program to edit the costume sprites. The action of the scratch program takes place on a scene of 480×360 (conditional) pixels with the center of coordinates in the middle of the scene.
Scratch programming uses a drag-and-drop approach: blocks from the Block Window are dragged into the script area. Many blocks have an editable white field for parameters entered by the scratch programmer.
The freesoft.ru site allows you to download Scratch for kids and make the first success of young programmers in writing their own algorithms!
