Screen to Image is a simple program that allows you to take a screenshot and save it to your hard drive in a convenient format.
The program is easy to use and sits discreetly in the system tray, waiting for a command. By default, the Ctrl and right-click combination is used to activate the program. This combination allows you to quickly take a screenshot in a matter of seconds. Pressing the combination displays the settings window and activates the screen capture mode.
In the Screen to Image settings window you can select the capture method (an arbitrary or fixed size screen area, or the active window). Furthermore, you can choose where the screenshot will be sent: to the clipboard, a file (PNG, JPEG, GIF or BMP), a third-party editor or a separate window. The latter option can be useful when you need to compare the contents of several windows. Other options include automatic launching on Windows startup and automatic generation of a screenshot file name.
