STCLite

STCLite is a program for secure and covertly sending e-mail messages over the Internet, as well as for covertly and securely storing information on removable media and hard drives. It consists of a text encryption module, a file and folder encryption module and a steganography module.

The program can also be used as a web-mail encryptor for encrypting e-mail messages directly in the web-browser window, for example, for encrypting mail in mail.ru. Using STCLite 3.3, you add a new quality to your Outlook Express and Outlook mail clients - the ability to create emails with hidden attachments. Version 3.3 adds multilingual support (for the moment only the translation into English). In addition, when encrypting text messages, you can change the encoding type of the encrypted text.

There are 4 types of encoding - Simple, Base 64, Base16, Esperanto. The encryption algorithm is made in accordance with GOST 28147-89. The key for running the program is generated from the password entered by the user. Or the key can be used, which is entered from a file on a removable drive.

The program operates in the Windows 9x, Windows ME, Windows NT4.0 (SP 4), Windows 2000, Windows XP environment on the computers compatible with IBM PC/AT 486 and higher. Easy to install and use, it is designed for all categories of users who want to keep their correspondence private, securely store information on their computers and removable media, or hide the fact that they have confidential information.
