VinylStudio is a powerful program that lets you transfer music albums from vinyl records and film cassettes to digital formats. It is also able to record music on CD/DVD discs.
The interface is a little outdated and cluttered with buttons and panels, so you will have to spend some time trying to understand it.
The main window of VinylStudio is divided into tabs and allows you to record and split tracks, clean tracks, burn CDs and DVDs, save tracks to your hard drive. Plus it has a built-in music player. The recording function is very advanced, can record audio in WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3 and OGG formats. You can adjust the recording quality manually.
The audio split function allows you to cut unwanted parts of tracks, for example, to create ringtones. You can apply effects of smooth transitions between tracks. The program also has a function for recording discs. With it, you can record audio CDs for your car stereo or player.
