Money Transfers via Odnoklassniki Available to Users from Kazakhstan

Many people may remember that Odnoklassniki social network launched international money transfers some time ago. Since then, users from Russia could transfer money to relatives and friends living in 17 countries around the world. Now, the developers of the social network have made it possible for users from other countries.

First of all, the innovation will be available for users of "Odnoklassniki" in Kazakhstan. Money transfers will be possible to Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. It is reported that this service will be launched with the support of the MasterCard payment system and ForteBank of Kazakhstan.

It is also known that transfers will be made in Kazakh tenge. If the recipient's account is opened in another currency, the funds will be converted at the rate of the bank that issued the recipient's card. At the same time, limits on such operations are already known. Thus, the amount of transfer may not be less than 500 tenge and over 400 thousand tenge. Commission for transfer from the Visa cards will constitute 1% + 200 tenge, but no less than 600 tenge, and the holders of MasterCard and Maestro cards during the first three months of the service free from the need to pay commission fee for the transfer.

It is worth adding that Kazakhstani citizens may try out the new feature in the full or mobile version of Odnoklassniki as well as via Android or iOS applications. For users from other countries, the function of money transfers will become available a little later.
