It seems that the messenger will be blocked in our country very soon.According to Alexander Zharov, head of Roskomnadzor, the Telegram administration has been ignoring the requirements of the Russian law on organizers of information distribution for a long time. At this point, there is only one thing that needs to be done. All Telegram representatives have to do is fill out a form with information about the company that owns the messenger and send it to Roskomnadzor to be included in the relevant register. Nevertheless, so far the agency has not received any response. If the situation does not change, Telegram will be blocked in Russia in the near future. Pavel Durov, the creator of the messenger, has already commented on the statement of the head of Roskomnadzor. In his opinion, blocking Telegram, which is neutral towards Russia, is unreasonable. And against the background of the continued operation in the country of messengers WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, controlled by the United States, from the outside looks like sabotage of state interests. It seems that the final decision on the further fate of Telegram in Russia will be made in the coming days.
