Many owners of modern smartphones have probably heard about the existence of such payment services as Google Wallet, Android Pay. Some of them have probably tried them out in practice. It seems that very soon both services will cease to exist: Google has decided to combine them into a universal payment solution.Recall that Google Wallet saw the light back in 2011, while Android Pay was launched relatively recently - only 2015. Both of these payment services will soon be merged under a single brand - Google Pay. First and foremost, this will help get rid of the confusion that arose as a result of the simultaneous operation of multiple payment solutions from Google. In addition, it is reported that it will become even easier and safer to make payments through Google Pay. It is known that to pay for purchases in new way will be used payment information stored in the Google-account of the user. The exact date of the launch of Google Pay has not yet been announced, but it is already known that the payment service will work in the coming weeks. Using it will be possible both to pay for purchases at online stores and in retail outlets. In addition, it is reported that the service is already available for payment in Airbnb, Dice, Fandango, HungryHouse, Instacart and a number of other applications and websites.
