Xiaomi introduced its new gaming smartphone, called Black Shark Helo. The gadget has received a number of improvements compared to its predecessor.
By the appearance of the gadget immediately you can tell that the smartphone is designed for gamers. Much thanks to the presence of a customizable backlit logo on the back panel and glowing stripes on the sides of the body. The Black Shark Helo's filling should also appeal to all fans of mobile games. The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 845 processor. The new cooling system with two liquid tubes is able to reduce its temperature to 12 degrees and maintain maximum performance longer than competitors' solutions.
Another nice feature of the new gaming smartphone was the rejection of the LCD screen in favor of AMOLED manufactured by Samsung. Its diagonal is 6.01 inches, and the resolution - 2160x1080 pixels. It is not unimportant that the new screen has support for HDR.
Another pleasant surprise for mobile gamers will be the expansion of RAM to 10 GB. However, this applies only to the version of the Black Shark Helo in the maximum "configuration". Also the smartphone will be available with 6 and 8 GB of RAM on board. The amount of flash memory will be 128 or 256 GB without the possibility of expansion.
Also, the smartphone got a large battery, with a capacity of 4000 mAh, the main camera at 20 and 12 MP, the front camera at 20 MP, stereo speakers on the front and fingerprint scanner on the back, as well as a new antenna design. The latter innovation, according to the manufacturer, will help to achieve a stable quality of signal reception in any situation.
It is worth adding that in the package with the smartphone buyers will receive game controllers, which can be attached to a special case. In addition, the gadget has a special Shark button for switching to game mode.
The price of the Black Shark Helo in China will be from $460 to $605, depending on the amount of memory. Outside the Celestial Empire the cost of the device may be a little different. The output of the new gaming smartphone from Xiaomi on the world market should take place before the end of October.
