Russian supercomputer in the top 30

Sberbank knows how to surprise. It - with the help of SberCloud - has created a supercomputer. The machine is called Christofari and is designed for the cloud platform.

How does "Kristofari" stand out from the competition? It is the fastest solution in Russia. Its performance is 6.7 petaflops. This leaves the domestic competitors behind.

Globally, Kristofari ranks 29th (out of 500 possible). For comparison, the supercomputer from Roshydromet is at 465th position. MSU's brainchild, Lomonosov-2, is ranked 107.

It is worth noting that the "Kristofari" was assembled from foreign parts. It is based on NVIDIA Tesla V100 and Intel Xeon Platinum chips. Thanks to them, the system is ready for AI tasks.

SberCloud is a "cloud" offered by Sberbank. The project accelerates the development of various services with artificial intelligence.
