The long-awaited function of downloading all the content uploaded on Instagram has finally become available to everyone.The innovation is essentially an analogue of the "Download your data" function on Facebook. Using a special tool, the user will be able to save all the uploaded data, which greatly facilitates the "move" to other services. The new function can only be used in the web version of Instagram, and it will reach the mobile version a little later. In order to save their photos and videos, users need to enter their email address into the request form. After this, it will only be necessary to wait for an email with a link to the file with the necessary content. Recall that the introduction of this function is due to the new General Data Protection Regulation, which will come into force in the European Union in a month's time, on May 25 of this year.
