PowerPoint has an on-the-fly translation feature

13 July 2017
Microsoft has released an add-on for PowerPoint that makes it possible to translate the slides of an electronic presentation into different languages right during the presentation. This tool was first presented at the Microsoft Build 2017 conference in May of this year and was called Presentation Translator. By installing this add-on, the user can add subtitles to his presentation in any of the 60 supported languages, and even his native language, for easier perception. Moreover, the addition of subtitles is automatic, as the translator "reads and translates" the text itself. In turn, those who will watch this presentation during the report will be able to use their mobile devices with the installed Microsoft Translator to read subtitles and translate entire slides without breaking its original structure and formatting.
