The device must run Android Marshmallow or Nougat. These requirements meet a considerable number of smartphones, so there is no point in giving their complete list. Nevertheless, among the first owners of Samsung Galaxy S7, LG V20 and, oddly enough, Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Honor 6X will have access to the assistant. The presence of the Chinese giant in this list was a pleasant surprise, because the company recently announced its intention to equip its new devices with an assistant from a competitor: Amazon Alexa. It is worth adding that Google Assistant will be installed on all compatible devices automatically, without user participation. If this has not happened yet - then you need to be patient and wait a little longer. By the way, it is possible that soon owners of Apple gadgets will be able to try the assistant, as hinted about by Google representative.
