Windows 10 has finally surpassed Windows 7 in popularity

It seems that a growing number of PC users running operating systems from Microsoft, give preference to the latest released OS. Thus, according to Statcounter, Windows 10 for the first time overtook "Seven" in popularity, which has long maintained its leadership.This event occurred in December 2016. Compared to November, when Windows 10 accounted for 26.29 percent of market share, December's figures were 26.9 percent. Although the difference is not great, but it was enough to overtake Windows 7 with 26.56%, which fell by 0.1% during the month. Windows 10 owes its popularity growth primarily to the constant introduction of new features and tools. Also important factors were the release of a number of inexpensive tablets running the OS and the upcoming release of Creation Update, which will significantly add to the list of features of the operating system.
