EF Commander is a file manager for Windows with many features designed to make working with files more efficient and convenient. Like most file managers, it has a dual-pane interface with a command line and function keys that make it easy to perform operations on files and folders.
EF Commander has an impressive arsenal of features and options, providing its users with everything they need. First of all, its interface supports tabs. Each of the two panes can contain its own set of tabs, allowing you to quickly switch between different folders depending on the task at hand. This file manager has a built-in file viewer that supports all common file formats, and a tag-enabled audio player where you can play MP3, Ogg/Vorbis, FLAC, WMA, and WAV files. This file manager also includes an archiver that can handle 20 different types of archives.
EF Commander can be used to work with files on a remote FTP server. The program has a built-in FTP-client that supports the secure FTPS (SSL/TLS) protocol. It also has a function for synchronizing two different folders locally or over the network.
