Glest

Glest is a cross-platform real-time strategy game. The gameplay is typical of games of this genre, such as Starcraft and Command & Conquer.

The game is set in a fictional world. The player is given two playable factions, the Magic and the Tech. Both sides have similarities and different traits. The races have magical and standard troops, including aviation. The game starts with the player needing to gain power, using multiple characters, to fight the enemy. There is a hierarchy of characters. In the game you have to build buildings and recruit new warriors and workers.

There is a change of day and night, many types of buildings (castles, towers, farms) and characters (warriors, mages, minotaurs, golems). Resources such as wood, stone and gold are the same for both nations. For mages the fourth resource is energy, and for teks - food.
