WarMUX is a free computer game made in the image of Worms, only the worms are replaced by penguins, foxes and other mascots of free and open software projects.
The rules of the game are quite simple: each of the players (minimum 2, when playing on the same computer or over a network in Wormux 0.8), controlling the team he chose, must destroy the others, using different types of weapons.
Various types of grenade launchers, machine guns, pistols, hunting rifles, sniper rifles, flamethrowers, dynamite, various types of grenades, mines, SuperTux rockets, rabid antelope, etc., as well as baseball bats and suicides are available for use in the game. There are also a few special tools to help you move around the maps: teleporters, jetpacks, balloons, etc.
Support for the game has been discontinued.
