Panda3D is a game engine that includes graphics, sound, input/output, collision detection and other features necessary for creating 3D games.
Panda3D provides a universal interface to work with three-dimensional graphics, saving the programmer from having to learn OpenGL and DirectX features and to use low-level graphics operations. Panda3D uses OpenGL as the main graphics API. Panda3D allows to automatically generate the most used shaders: Normal Map, Gloss Map, Glow Map, Tone Mapping, Bloom Filter, Threshold Lighting, Inking, Shadow Mapping, Cartoon Inking, Volumetric Lightning, Blur/Sharpen, Ambient Occlusion. It is possible to connect your own shaders written in Cg or GLSL.
