PURPOSE: Simulation of a laboratory work on general physics.
EXPERIMENTAL OBJECTIVE: Experimental investigation of vector addition of forces.
DESCRIPTION: The vector addition of forces can be presented simply and visually on a force demonstration table. The point of application of three separate forces at equilibrium is strictly in the middle of the table. The magnitudes of the individual forces are determined from the suspended weights, and the angle of each of the force vectors (the direction of action of each force) is determined using a protractor. The result of the experiment can be evaluated analytically or presented graphically.
