Static and dynamic friction 3D virtual laboratory work on physics (section: Mechanics).
Purpose: Simulation of the laboratory work on general physics.
PURPOSE OF THE EXPERIENCE: Measurement of friction forces.
DESCRIPTION: In order to measure dynamic friction, a friction force measuring device is used. It consists of movable strips of friction that are pulled at a constant rate from under a stationary, non-smooth body connected to a dynamometer. In order to change the effective weight load (and hence the force acting on the normal) of the stationary body, any value of the tilt angle of the track must be set.
