Dia

Dia is a free diagram and flowchart editor. The application will be especially useful for schoolchildren and students. It will also be useful for novice programmers.

Dia is a Windows application. It is part of the GNOME Office suite. It's also available as a standalone installation.

Application features

• The use of layers allows you to change the selected area. Does not disturb or shift the others.
• Individual objects are fixed. There is a function to move them in sections. Links with other objects are not disturbed. You don't have to redo the whole scheme after you make corrections.
• Binding to the grid is used for precise positioning of elements.
• Application capabilities can be expanded by installing add-ons and external plug-ins.
